Reporting an Integrity Concern
Everyone from athletes, parents, support personnel, administrators and supporters play a role in protecting the integrity of our sport.
If you see something, say something!
If there is an immediate threat to an individual’s safety please contact your local law enforcement agency or dial ‘000’. For matters relating to a child or young person being at risk of harm, you may also wish to report your concerns to your local child protection agency. BA cannot assist in emergencysituations.
To make a complaint regarding a potential breach of Biathlon Australia’s National Integrity Framework Policies please follow one of these processes:

Sport Integrity Australia Managed Complaints
Complaints relating to Child Safeguarding and Discrimination should be lodged with Sport Integrity Australia (SIA) using the
SIA Online Form.

Sport Integrity Australia Managed Complaints
Biathlon Australia has opted in to the independent complaints handling process for integrity -related issues relating to Safeguarding Children and Young People and Discrimination managed by Sport Integrity Australia.
You can lodge a formal complaint or report a concern through the following avenues.
Online
Sport Integrity Australia can receive information that relates to Doping, Safeguarding Children and Young People or Discrimination in sport. This includes through the Confidential Reporting Scheme, where you can submit information anonymously to Sport Integrity Australia.

Call 1300 027 232 select option 3 for an integrity matter or option 5 for a doping matter any time between 9:00am - 4:30pm Mon-Fri (excluding national and ACT public holidays)

Lodging a Complaint
Below are some simple steps to remember when considering lodging a complaint with Sport Integrity Australia:
· Anyone can make a complaint
· Only complaints relating to allege breaches of the Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy or discrimination can be submitted to Sport Integrity Australia.
· Complaints can only be actioned if the person who allegedly committed the behaviour is bound by the BA Policies (i.e. they must have agreed to be bound by the policy via membership or agreement).
Complaints relating to selections, governance, personal grievances or other BA policies should be submitted in writing to integrity@biathlonaustralia.com.au.
Biathlon Australia Managed Complaints
Complaints relating to Prohibited Conduct under the National Integrity Framework or breach of BA Policies other than Safeguarding Children and Young People or Discrimination matters should be submitted in writing to integrity@biathlonaustralia.com.au.
For complaints about Bullying please refer to the ‘Bullying in Sport’ Booklet for options on alternative pathways a member may choose to pursue, prior to submitting a complaint.
