Book the Hotham Range

How to Book the Hotham Biathlon Arena

 Are you a Member of Biathlon Australia looking to book a lane(s) at the Hotham Biathlon Arena to practice your shooting? 

Are you an accredited Biathlon Australia coach looking to hold a coaching session for members? 

Follow our quick and easy step by step process which is outlined below.   

Coaches:  

All coaching sessions other than those being held by Biathlon Australia and listed on the Events page are classifed as private coaching sessions. Private coaching sessions require a fee to be paid for each athlete attending to Biathlon Australia, Range Passes to be purchased and the Range to be booked.

Step 1 

a) Your booking process will start with the following screen.  

b) You must be logged into the website using your member log-in to access the booking process.  You can re-set your log-in and password, if you can't remember it. If you are still having difficulties, email executiveofficer@biathlonaustralia.com.au and the details will be re-sent to you.

Click here  to start your booking process. You will be taken to the screen below.

b) Click on Options > Venue Availability and peruse the availability of lanes you are thinking about booking.

Use the Day/Week/Month toggle and All Sub Venues button to assist

Step 2

Once you've decided your date| time | lane number(s) 

Click here  Book this Item  or on the button under Options

Select the lane(s) you wish to book, date(s) and start/finish time.

NOTE: The maximum session time that can be booked is for 3 hours.  

NOTE: The Range must be booked at least the day before your planned session by 5pm. It cannot be booked on the same day. 

Step 3

Click on Next Step                 

Under Order Details, in "Notes" please:

1. Input the names of the member(s) who will be shooting

2. Input the name of any guest(s) that have been approved to attend the shooting session

Click on Confirm booking

You will receive:

a) an email advising your booking request has been received and is pending approval.

b) once approved, you will receive an email confirmation or further information may be requested. Either way, we aim to approve your request in a timely and efficient manner. 

If you need to cancel your booking for whatever reason, please email executiveofficer@biathlonaustralia.com.au outlining your reason.

Please note: Range Passes are non-refundable once purchased, even if you cancel your booking. 

Please note: Accredited coaches booking a private member(s) session will be charged a fee of $5 per person attending a shooting session. This covers the cost of insurance being provided for the session and together with the Range fee contributes to the maintenence costs of the Range.
