Whiskey Flat Working Bee (with free accommodation)

The winter season has come to an end and the green season has started.

Over winter there was a good amount of discussion about capital & maintenance works to improve the area of and immediately surrounding the range - including fencing, drainage, painting, and other improvements (depending on the number of volunteers 😊 )

The amazing Greg O'Donohue from Hotham Alpine Resort Operations is keen to be involved and has access to the necessary machinery.

So, we are kindly calling for volunteers to lend a hand over the Melbourne Cup long weekend – 1 to 4 November 2025.  Come for the entire weekend or part of it.

BA have agreed to pay for accommodation at Apea Ski Club for those wishing to help out.  And it’s an opportunity for some summer training as well - so it’s a bit of work and play.
