Dear Biathlon Australia family,

🎉 We are excited to share that BA has recently secured several grants from the IBU, AOC, IOC and Paralympics Australia.

Thanks to the hard work of our amazing GM, Sandra, tremendous XO, Robyn and generous volunteer Board members, we have secured:

• An IBU Gender Equality & Diversity grant, to support the crucial work of our National Integrity Manager, Brooke Irvine, and the ongoing training of biathlon officials and referees in Australia;

• An IBU grant to support the identification and training of youth and junior athletes;

• IBU and PA grants to support our 2026 Milano-Cortina Paralympic aspirations;

• IOC solidarity grants in support of our coaches attending IBU Academy coach education courses; &

• AOC grants in support of our 2026 & beyond Olympic aspirations

This is in addition to the wonderful support we’ve received from the Victorian Department of Sport & Recreation and NSW Office of Sport.

And we’re always on the lookout for more.

⛷️ Also, we’re absolutely delighted to share that we are continuing our IBU NF partnerships with our dear friends at Poland  and Finland  for the 2025/26 seasons.  And we’ll be undertaking an exciting new partnership with the team from Austria .

We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support & partnerships and we have been able to secure.  This truly is a testament to our ongoing commitment to good governance, integrity, stakeholder engagement, board stability and a Better Biathlon for All.
