Dear Biathlon Australia family,

National Interschools Results today at Buller

Following some great results at the State Interschool events, our Biathlon Australia members had a great day today at Buller in the Australian Interschool Cross Country Championships.

Biathlon Australia was represented on the top step in 1st place, in 5 of the possible 6 ‘high school’ individual classic races this morning…who said biathletes can’t classic!

Congratulations to: 

• 1st Ava McCann (1F), Matthew Wilby (1M), Thea Harvey (2F), Liam Cullen-Croke (2M) and Carmen Cullen-Croke (3F)
• 2nd Chilli Sparke(1F), Edward Woodhouse-Bedak (1M) and Kolby Peters (5M)
• 3rd Ethan Zhang (1M), Finn Meehan (2M) and Angus Skilton (4M)

Additional results saw many Biathlon Australia athletes with great results in the freestyle relays in the afternoon with the following athletes all on the podium:

Ethan Zhang, Edward Woodhouse-Bedak, Claude Jonker, Allegra Jonker, Ava McCann, Chilli Sparke, Thea Harvey, Carmen Cullen-Croke, Angus Skilton and Hugo Croft
