(Chilli has her eye on the prize)
Oxley College Snowsports Captain Chilli Sparke has won the Spirit of Interschools Award as part of the 2025 Snow Australia Community Sport Award. Chilli is an wonderful ambassador for BA and has been representing Australia and promoting biathlon for many years. Chilli made her Youth Junior World Championship debut in biathlon in Kazakhstan in 2023 and represented Australia at the Junior European Championships in Altenburg, Germany earlier this year. We can't wait to see Chilli back in green and gold in 2026.
Meanwhile one of our newest members - 2xParalympian, dual sport gold medalist, Commonwealth Games bronze medalist, and all round sporting legend – Lauren Parker is the 2026 NSW Athlete of the Year with a Disability for her magnificent efforts in paratriathlon & paracycling. Lauren is a member of our exceptional para biathlon and XC teams currently putting in the miles in Canmore, Canada. She’s looking forward to donning the green & gold in two more sports!
We wish Chilli, Lauren and the entire BA team the very best of luck.
