Dear Biathlon Australia members,
We’re excited to invite you to join us in Jindabyne for the Biathlon Australia Jindabyne Dry Land Camp, leading into our 50-Year Celebration on Saturday 3 October.
This will be a great opportunity for athletes, coaches, families and members to come together for some training, fun and, most importantly, to celebrate 50 years of biathlon in Australia.
Jindabyne Dry Land Camp
Camp dates: Wednesday 30 September 2pm – Friday 2 October 1pm
Camp cost: $100 per person
The camp will be focused on dry land training, with a combination of:
- Roller skiing
- Running sessions
- Biathlon-specific drills
- Shooting drills on our newly opening laser shooting range
The new Jindabyne facility is an exciting development for Biathlon Australia, and this camp will be a great opportunity to get out on the roller ski track and make use of the new laser shooting range.
Accommodation
Accommodation is including the camp cost for Wednesday and Thursday night; we will self-cater with communal meals.
For those staying on in Jindabyne, accommodation will be available at $33 per person, per night for Friday and Saturday nights. Please be aware under 18 must have a guardian staying.
Saturday 3 October – 50 Year Celebration
Following the camp, we’ll have a fun event on Saturday, before coming together to celebrate 50 years of Biathlon Australia.
It’s going to be a special weekend for the Biathlon Australia community, and we’d love to see as many members as possible there.
