IBU Qualifying Points System
Dear Biathlon Family Australia,
Yesterday BA announced the AUS 2025-26 Olympic Winter Games (OWG) Wildcard Q points ranking as at 14 Dec 25. The key points for those with a keen interest in IBU Q points were that:
- For the calculation of the 2025-26 OWG Wildcard Q points ranking only the listed competitions in the official qualification system document count, meaning only World Cups/IBU Cups of season 24/25 and until January 18th 2026.
- For the Wild Card calculation of WCs/WCH, also Junior Cups and selected Regional Events during season 25/26 count as defined in the IBU ECR.
