Camp Date Announcement

Please contact spaul@biathlonaustralia.com.au with your EOI for any of the camps below.

As is the case for most Biathlon Australia camps and events, thanks to the IBU most costs will be covered including accommodation, meals, coaching, range fees, ammunition.

However, athletes will be required to fund transportation.

IBU cup Junior Cup Camp – Obertilliach

Dates: 28^th December to 4^th January
Location: Obertilliach

Post Christmas Camp leading into IBU Cup and JC races

• EOI Deadline 30th November 2025

Development Camp – Obertilliach

Dates: 5–16 January
Location: Obertilliach
Athletes are encouraged to enter the Dolomitenlauf Races on 17–18 January

• 5 km Skate
• 5 km Classic
• EOI Deadline 30th November 2025

Development Camp – Jindabyne

Location: Sport and Recreation, Jindabyne
Using the new Jindabyne facility including the laser biathlon range
Open to able-bodied athletes and athletes with a disability

• Arrival: 23 January
• Departure: 26 January
• EOI Deadline 30th November2025

Finnish Partnership – Junior Program

19–23 January: Imatra JOEC

24 January – 11 February: Vuokatti Training Centre
Includes Finnish Junior team Selection races in Kontiolahti

• Race dates: 7–8 February
• EOI Deadline 30th November 2025

Pre-YJWCH Training Camp – Obertilliach

Dates: 12–24 February, depart to Arber on the 25th February 

EOI Deadline 15th December 2025

Development Camp – Jindabyne 

Location: Sport and Recreation, Jindabyne
Using the new Jindabyne facility including the laser biathlon range
Open to able-bodied athletes and athletes with a disability

• 7–10 April: Roller Ski Laser Biathlon Camp
• 11–12 April: Australian Roller Ski Races in Jindabyne
