EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

SIA e-Learning
With the Australian and National Championships (Events) fast approaching Biathlon Australia would like to remind all athletes about the mandatory education required prior to participating in these Events.
An underpinning principle of the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standard for Education outlines that an Athlete’s first experience with Anti-Doping should be through education rather than Doping Control.
As any athlete can be tested at anytime and anywhere it is important for all athletes to have completed Anti-Doping education prior to the Events as outlined below.

PLEASE NOTE: if you are entering into more than one event you must meet the education requirements for the highest event you are entering (e.g. U16 and U19 – you must meet the requirements of the U19 event). Any athlete entering into the Open event must meet the education requirements of the Open event.
If you have previously completed the Anti-Doping Fundamentals Course or Clean Sport 101 you do not need to complete the course again. However if you are required to complete the Annual Update, you will need to complete the 2026 version if your have not done so already.
These courses can be accessed via https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/ and searched for via the ‘Course Catalogue’ button.
If you do not have an account with Sport Integrity Australia, please follow the instructions on the webpage in order to set one up.
If you experience any issues with the process, please contact the SIA education team at education@sportintegrity.gov.au for support.
Once you have completed the course(s) please download your Training History via My Learning > Training History > Completions > Export and send it to executiveofficer@biathlonaustralia.com.au.
Wishing you all the very best in your preparation for the National and Australian Championships.
