Dear Biathlon Australia family,
We are thrilled to share with you that Dave Miln has been shortlisted for a NSW Sports Award in the category of Athlete of the Year with a Disablilty for both Biathlon & Nordic skiing.
The awards night to be held in Sydney on November 24 will celebrate 64 finalists in 12 categories and will include Olympians, Paralympians, World Champions and National Championship winning teams.

Sport NSW CEO, Stuart Hodge said in the press release:
“The quality of Award category submissions this year is again outstanding, and we congratulate all finalists for their wonderful contribution to their sport, and to NSW sport more broadly.
“These performances and achievements continue to raise the bar and set new benchmarks for all sport to aspire to as we turbo-charge along the Green and Gold highway towards the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games,” he said.
“These worthy finalists in each Award category have excelled at the highest levels and they join an illustrious alumnus of great NSW Sports Awards finalists who have served themselves, their sport and the state with distinction,” added Mr Hodge.

To add to the excitement, another of BA's members Lauren Parker, has been nominated in the same category for Triathlon & Cycling.
