Dear Biathlon Australia family,

Biathlon Australia Welcomes Nastassia Kinnunen ‘Ana' to Australia this winter.

Biathlon Australia is pleased to confirm that Ana will be joining us in Australia this winter to support athlete development, training camps, and national competitions.

Ana is a three-time Winter Olympian, a World Championship medallist in summer biathlon, has had 180 World Cup starts and is a qualified coach.

You can see her profie at Biathlon World here.

She has devoted her life not only to competing at the highest level but also to the study of sport and coaching.

Currently, Ana serves as the National U19 Youth Team Coach for Finland, where she plays a key role in developing young athletes through one of the world’s leading biathlon systems.

Her experience at this level brings valuable insight to Biathlon Australia's pathway and performance programs.

Ana is also keen to get to know our athletes personally and to develop tailored high-performance training plans with each of them, supporting long-term development aligned with international standards.

Her visit is part of our continuing partnership with Finland, following a successful 2024/25 season.

We are committed to building on this collaboration through 2025/26 and 2026/27 as we focus on:
