Biathlon Australia is excited to announce that we have been successful in receiving funding through the Regional All Abilities Participation Grants, to support our project with SSAA Wodonga to provide adaptive biathlon equipment and assistance for athletes to attend training and competitions at our regional venues.

This project addresses key barriers faced by athletes with disability in regional areas, including limited access to suitable equipment and the high cost of travel. The Victorian Government funding through Sport and Recreation Victoria, will help BA to break down barriers and create meaningful, inclusive experiences for people with disabilities through community sport and active recreation.

The funding will assist BA to provide equipment such as targets and sit skis to athletes interested in pursuing biathlon.
