Dear Biathlon Australia family,
Congratulations 🎉 to Biathlon Australia’s Head Coach Nastassia (Ana) Kinnunnen OLY for completing her First Level IBU Coaching Course.
Ana is such an amazing coach and an incredible leader; we're extremely lucky to have such an experienced, calm, fun and wonderful person lead our team. Ana has overseen some tremendous team member performances this season, including numerous personal best results, improved Q-Points, Noah Bradford’s World Cup Debut, Boris Stanish’s World Cup eligibility, numerous clean shoots, and an improved Men's IBU Cup of Nation standing at #26 Overall, #3 in Asia (behind Kazakstan & Japan) and #1 in the Southern Hemisphere. The season prior our men were ranked #31.
Ana has also worked very co-operatively and harmoniously with BA's Sports Director, Sandra Paul OLY, our National Federation partners - Finland
and Austria
, the IBU, the OCs and our Board of Directors. She truly is a delight.
Ana's can-do attitude, international expertise, communication skills, respectfulness and thought leadership amplify and align with the TEAM culture we are endeavouring to cultivate and our ongoing vision of creating A Better Biathlon for All.
We are so grateful to have Ana on our team and look forward to both Ana's and BA's success in the future 💚💛
