Athletes
In preparation for the Australian and National Championships (Events) Biathlon Australia would like to remind all athletes about the mandatory education required prior to participating in these Events.
It is possible that athletes may be tested during these events, and it is critical that you are aware of the what the process entails and you understand your rights and responsibilities as an athlete during the testing process and under the anti-doping policy.
In preparation for these events, could you please ensure you have completed the SIA Online eLearning Courses as outlined below prior to competing at any of these events as any athlete can be tested anywhere, anytime so make sure you are ready:

PLEASE NOTE: if you are entering into more than one event you must meet the education requirements for the highest event you are entering (e.g. U16 and U19 – you must meet the requirements of the U19 event). Any athlete entering into the Open event must meet the education requirements of the Open event.
If you have previously completed the Anti-Doping Fundamentals Course, you do not need to complete the course again. You will however need to complete the Annual Update 2026 if you have not done so already.
If you have completed the Clean Sport 101 Course you do not need to complete the course again.
