Biathlon Australia Session - USI Club   

A biathlon match session is being held, if you are ill or have flu-like symptions, please do not attend. 

Where:  HorseShoe Range, Anzac Rifle Range

              245 Franklin Street, Malabar.

Time:   2pm to 4pm (minimum 3 athletes required for session to run)

Please arrive at 2pm to assist with Range set up and the session will begin once the Range is set up. 

Meeting Place:  Please meet at the Range and be sure to use the QR code with the RO or coach onsite to sign in on arrival at the session, so that your training session can be passed on to USI.  

Wear:  Covered shoes, and comfortable clothes for lying on a biathlon mat. 

Bring:  Drink, hat and wear sunscreen 

Equipment: Biathlon rifle, armband and ammunition 

Note: if you are new to biathlon, ammunition, arm band and a rifle can be provided. Please indicate when registering (although we only have 2 rifles, so you may need to share). 

Documents:  Shooting Licence or Minors Permit. 

Cost:  $22 (incl. GST) Range Fees both Junior/Senior.  

Coaching Fee:$35 (incl. GST) coaching session fee. 

Rifle Hire:  $33 (incl. GST) - includes ammo (may need to be shared). Please give at least 24 hours notice if you are interested in hiring a rifle. Rifles will not be provided unless arrangements have been made in advance with BA. Payment does not guarantee that a rifle can be made available.

Ammunition:  ammunition will be required.  If you do not have ammunition, it can be ordered for you. Please make arrangements at least 24 hours in advance with BA. 

Please make payments  - Range fee & Coaching fees online when registering.

Please ensure that you sign into the event using the BA QR code that the coach, manager or the RO will have available. This will be proof of attendance for BA to provide to USI, as part of your minimum 4 shoots for 2025/26.

**Please note, participants/parents will be added to a WhatsApp group in case of last minute changes due to weather or other unavoidable situations.
